It is one of the oldest and important temples in Chachoengsao Province. It is a religious place and a place related to the history of the town as it was built with the city wall. Later, it was burned until it became an abandoned temple in rebellion incident. However, it has been designated as Royal Monastery, third class, ordinary type.
